ECS 101

ECS 101 is a required course for every incoming freshman. The goal is to help freshman navigate their transition to college, explore major and minor paths, and explore Emory resources available to them. As a facilitator for ECS, I can help easily navigate the online LMS to the classroom.

ECON 220

ECON 220 is a high impact course at Emory. Since it is taught every year, I helped design the course as a flipped classroom course. This helped students participate more during the active lecture in class. Please look at the process below for more.

Education abroad

One of my big roles was helping create Emory College’s Education Abroad Pre-departure module for every student going abroad in the academic year. The goal of this project was to help define a key guideline for students to be safe and effective with their education abroad experience.

Canvas building

Emory uses a learning management system, Canvas. As an instruction content developer, I help Emory College faculty design their courses and create Canvas websites that are user-friendly and design intensive.

Canvas Course Example

Emory college teaching strategies course

I collaborated with Emory College Teaching Strategies to develop a self-paced, engaging course for new faculty teaching online for the first time. I designed interactive content and learning activities that guided instructors through best practices in online teaching, helping them feel confident and prepared for their virtual classrooms.

Pre-College

I helped Emory College’s Pre-College Program by creating interactive Rise 360 materials and developing social media content to engage prospective students and enhance the program’s outreach.
